Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched its new 125cc offering, the Burgman Street 125, in the Indian market at a price tag of INR 68,000. Drawing inspirations from the bigger Burgman siblings, the Burgman Street 125 is the first maxi-scooter in its segment. This will be the second 125 cc scooter from Suzuki in India after the Access 125.[gallery size="full" ids="5040,5041,5042"]The quirkily designed Burgman Street gets a ton of features mainly like LED headlight and position lamp, LED rear combination lamp, chrome garnish, chrome mirrors, etc. to give it a striking visual presence. Convenience features include fully digital instrument console, USB charger, easy start system, among many others.[gallery size="full" ids="5022,5023,5024,5025,5026,5027,5028,5029,5030,5031,5032,5033,5034,5035,5036,5037,5038,5039"]Powering the scooter is the same 125cc, 4-stroke air-cooled with SOHC 2 valve single-cylinder engine from the Access 125 which delivers 8.7 BHP of power and 10.2 Nm of torque. The Burgman Street also gets Suzuki’s SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) technology, that offers an optimal fuel-efficiency without compromising on either power or performance. Apart from sharing the engine and chassis from the Access 125, the Burgman Street also gets components from the Gixxer, such as the fully-digital instrument console.[gallery size="full" ids="5043,5044,5045"]The scooter gets combi-braking system as standard which enables operation of both brakes from the left brake lever, helping in maintaining a good balance between front and rear brake forces.
